Alex Forsyth (born January 6, 1955) is a former professional ice hockey forward. He was drafted in the first round, 18th overall, by the Washington Capitals in the 1975 NHL Entry Draft. He was also drafted by the San Diego Mariners (ninth round, 122nd overall) of the World Hockey Association in the 1975 WHA Amateur Draft.
Forsyth played just one game in the National Hockey League with the Capitals, during the 1976–77 season.
